Coworkers that get upset when you won’t cover a shift and demand an explanation as to why are the worst. You’re literally not my boss

Had someone ask to switch shifts with me today and I said no. He insisted on a reason and I just said I had plans. He then passive aggressively asked me how I had plans at 11pm. We work at a bar, it’s not far fetched that I’d be up that late and we’ve definitely all had hangouts that late. The real reason is that my shift is better than his; it’s shorter, and probably the same amount of money. But I thought that was too rude of a reason, so I made up the thing about having plans. He planned poorly and has a flight early the next morning, didn’t request the day off, and somehow it’s my fault? Entitled people are the worst.
