Antiwork

3 days away from the end of my two-week notice, and I discover my new job lied about everything.

Im a manager at a coffee shop. Leaving because I’m criminally underpaid and overworked. I took another job at this place. I gave them my availability, told them I’m looking to work full time. During the interview, they asked me if I’d be willing to come in at open (6 am for this shop). I said, that’s not a problem, but I don’t want to do that every day, so I’d prefer a mix of morning and afternoon shifts. They said that would be perfect. They sent me my first schedule. I’m working only 14 hours a week. 6 AM for every single one. Granted, there’s only two per week, but the manager explicitly promised he would not do that. The best part? My two shifts a week are scheduled on the two days I’m not available. I obviously can’t do this. But I have only a few days left…

I obviously can’t do this. But I have only a few days left at my current job. I’m feeling really screwed right now.
