I’m tired of working for $10hr.

I'm a 29 year old male who is currently living with my dad in Las Vegas. I currently work as a security guard and I am basically paid around $10hr. I've been looking for other jobs but so far I'm not having much luck. It seems like most of the jobs in this city unless if you are working in the casino and gambling industries pay around $10 to $12 an hour. I apply to other jobs frequently and I'm constantly getting rejection emails. My dad sometimes suggest me other jobs like Albertsons or Hardee's but those jobs are the same amount of pay but with more responsibilities. Sure, I may be working min wage but after I do my patrols and let workers in my site I get to sit down on my ass most of the time. At those other jobs I would have to bust my ass…

Sure, I may be working min wage but after I do my patrols and let workers in my site I get to sit down on my ass most of the time. At those other jobs I would have to bust my ass more. I don’t even want to get out of bed for anything less than $25 to $30 an hour. I am also not so sure what I want to do with my career.

My previous work experience before I did security for 4 years I worked at a computer repair shop as a unpaid intern for half a year. Prior to that I would occasionally help my dad at his store from time to time. I did go to community college but I did not get a degree. I also have a fast typing speed and know various Microsoft programs. I was thinking about learning a skill so I can work remote but so far it's hard to find remote jobs as well as regular entry level jobs or jobs that pay well. I want to know how do I get out of working for $10hr and look for something better?
