I work in debt settlement sales. It's something I like quite a bit.
I just started with a smaller company , and they're lying to people. There's literally nothing in the script that talks about the consequences of this product. I listened to multiple call recordings with client's personal information available where the CEO literally just signs people up without them fully understanding what they're doing.
I'm 1099 on this job, fully comiss. I have another interview next monday with a more reputable firm.
I'm afraid to quit because basically I'm broke as hell and if I don't get this other job I'm screwed, but I don't want to sell a product I don't believe in. In fact, I feel like this company should get shut down the way they're practicing.
