If not the right sub can someone tell me where else to post
My dad (55 y/o) had been working at this place for over a decade and they decided they “no longer need his services”. This is our family’s main source of income, I get disability but it’s not enough to support us (me, mom who can’t work but isn’t eligible for disability, dad) and my dad has limited skill set. Prior to this job he worked at a different place for 25 years so it doesn’t seem like it will be easy for him to find a job again
This is in Pennsylvania. Can he get unemployment? What about medical insurance?? I don’t see how he’s gonna find another job that pays well enough to support us with the way this country is. He’s too old and worked the same jobs his whole life and no employer is gonna want that.
I don’t know what we’re going to do and I don’t know how to fix things and I’m angry and idk I need help I need advice
