I was talking to a girl I know that works at a gas station and she was complaining about a new manager. They made a rule that on third shift when there is only one employee there, they cannot go into the bathroom unless they call a manager and get permission. If the manager doesn't answer, they have to keep calling back, but are prohibited from leaving the front of the store until they reach somebody. I told her that is most likely illegal and she should quit immediately because they are treating her like a child that cannot be trusted. Why would you even have someone work for you that you feel that way about? For $10/hr too I'm sure. And who is this manager staying up all night to answer calls asking to pee every 90 mins?
