Hi, I have no idea if this is the right sub to ask, but I figured y’all would know better than anyone in my life.
Summer of 2021, my boyfriend worked at McDonald’s. He never got his last paycheck because he had to go into the store to pick it up and he was too awkward to go back after quitting so he just never got it. There’s somewhere between $300 and $900 on that last paycheck and I was wondering if he would be able to collect it now, even though it’s been a year and a half?
Edit for update: I found out they sent it to our state’s embassy. For future reference, if anyone forgets to collect money from their employer then it gets sent to your state embassy. You can file a claim to receive the money. The more you know
