So I work 40 hours a week as a barmaid in a local village pub. It’s awful, I have way too much responsibility imo for what I’m paid.
I applied recently for a course with employment at the end of it, I was accepted onto it. It starts in 5 weeks.
I went to work yesterday and gave notice for 5 weeks time. My boss only has 2 barmaids and herself, couple of students do odd shifts now and again etc
Well anyway, she kicked off so badly at me she told me I’m leaving her in the shit and I’ve fucked her over etc. She said she can’t believe I’m doing this to her and it’s not on etc. I felt really shit when I left but now on reflection I’m so pissed off. I went to my shift last night and was given the silent treatment etc it was a bad atmosphere.
How bad would it be if after tonight when I finish work and receive my pay if I just posted my keys back after I close and ghost her? Is it a terrible idea? I can’t be arsed anymore.
