First off, my child support amount is taken off my cheques as a deduction (voluntarily). Back in September 2022 I received 3 pay periods, and I didn’t check up on my payments made because it has never been an issue, until I received a notice that the government was penalizing me $400 for nonpayment in September, no payments were received, THEY HAD BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY CHEQUE THOUGH. After I spoke to my employer 2 were sent out, late, so I still got $400 fine. So one payment of $600 is still missing completely. That’s $1000 stolen from me. I have been in contact with my family maintenance officer and they requested cheque numbers. I have requested them from my employer twice now but still have not received anything. What do I do?
