I've been applying for remote work on linkedin and am getting emails from places I didn't apply for. And they're real funky spammy looking stuff, too, so I don't touch it. Some want me to join some Zoom-like thing and they send me a link. I sent a note to linkedin and I got a canned “Be careful of spammers” note back. If this is what happens on LinkedIn, it's going to hurt them in the long run.
