I just got off a zoom meeting where my manager shared her screen.
I could see her text thread with one of my coworkers where she called me stupid and accused me of emailing that coworker a question so I didn’t have to ask her.
Now I know that they communicate on slack and have never invited me. Not only that, they are taking shit about me. I’m fuming, and I feel like I want to puke and or cry.
During the zoom I dropped a few hints that I had seen the messages saying sorry for asking a “stupid” question and asking if I should be included on slack.
She didn’t get the hint. On Friday, I just accepted their offer to be an employee instead of a contract worker. I have benefits and a salary now, but the company is new so no HR dept. I wanted to quit right then and there but have nowhere to go.
What would you guys do?
