Just got hired at two jobs. One wants me to quit the other as a potential conflict of interest. Do I have to quit my second job?

Just got hired for two jobs in the same field. One of them wants me to quit the other, they told me it’s a potential conflict of interest, but they didn’t elaborate more than that. Can I keep them both if I tell the first job that I quit the second, or will they find out somehow?
