like they know pay $15 an hour right? What do they have to think they are in the position to demand so many expectations
- you have to learn the entire menu in 2 days
- the managers are more like drill sergeants
- You have to take actual tests
after applying to every Jersey Mike's in Orange county being denied while having 4 years of serving/cashiering/ 5 years cooking
while there being 17-year-olds working the stations
*two of the locations applied to scheduled an interview one of them the manager didn't show up so I had to wait there for 40 minutes then 2 weeks later I'm contacted with the manager apologizing and said that we can get the onboarding started
then two months go by with no communication i decide to check up again and say hey can I work here just for the heck of it they said yeah we'll get you started I'll send you the onboarding that same day few days go by contact again and again second week I just show up managers there and states
“hey the owners are out of town so we'll contact you eventually” knowing that the owners of the actual franchises have no requirement to be in person for any hiring
Like there are actual felons that work as management and a few of these locations there are kids in high school that work there and kids in college that don't give a s*** about being there and rarely do work it's so strange that this is common in all of these locations
