New here…after reading some of your posts regarding your insolent work superiors, all I can say is that’s one thing I don’t mind about working in auto shops. When the stupidity arises, I don’t have to go around asking for advice on how to react. I just say something along the lines of, “that’s fucking stupid”… or “you all can get fucked if you think I’m doing that”, and there’s little consequence because they need me cause I fix cars and make them money, and they’d rather put up with my shit than have to go hire another asshole who isn’t competent at the trade.
Remember this, always know your worth. If you bring legitimate value and are a key part of that company’s success, then speak your mind. If they get butthurt then tell ‘em to kick rocks. You may have to get another job, but guess what, there’s plenty of honest and fair work out there. And there are bosses out there who are not bad people in general or to work for.
