I don't want to post the picture itself in case the managers somehow find it, but it says this:
Effective immediately, anyone (except managers) who has a phone ON them or IN the building, including the break room, while clocked in will be fired. DON'T EVEN BRING IT IN THE BUILDING. LEAVE IT AT HOME OR IN YOUR CAR.
My friend doesn't have a car and has to use Uber or call me or my girlfriend to pick him up from work. On weekends he works until closing, which means he gets out at different times depending on how much work they have to do after the official closing time. Closing is meant to be at 10, but last week he didn't get out until 12 AM because of how busy it was. Yet, he isn't allowed to have his phone to call his ride until AFTER he is clocked out. He has to wait for us to get there in the cold, and the drive takes like 20 minutes.
Also, the (except managers) sits so wrong with me. Of course they aren't going to apply the rules to themselves, but to put it so blatantly in the post is just mean.
