In brief I worked in a leadership position within a media organisation. My General Manager didn’t come with experience in our field and was a total pain in the arse from day one.
Some bullying / harassment / racist comments etc
I was contracted under a specific position, but they expected me to work well beyond my position description. When I asked for a payrise as compensation, I was gaslighted and made to feel ungrateful.
The next day I resigned from my position, with two positions within my team still vacant, and since found out they had to hire a contractor in and pay $40 grand.
I never got a farewell gift 🥲
