You could tell they were understaffed when you walked in. Tons of tables yet to be cleared. Checks still not picked up.
I understand the situation so I was very patient and nice to all the staff working.
A young guy came by to clear to clear the dishes in the area I was in. He dropped a glass and it shattered. You could tell he had enough. He cursed under his breath “fucken fuck – this is my third day of doing this bullshit” and continued on (now slamming) dishes into the tub. Whatever I get it.
What’s messed up is after I finish and pay, they give me this promo card thing that is basically a marketing push to get more people into the store.
WHY are you wanting more customers to come in when you don’t have the staff to support it? Clearly you have staff bleed out and burnout because something management is doing isn’t working (too little pay).
