Honestly asking. There’s been a few jobs I’ve been hired at, where during orientation, they mention getting written up for incorrect behavior. I always have to hold in laughing because it just sounds like I’m in grade school. It feels demeaning, like I’m a child.
Like, why would I give a shit if you write down that you have a complaint about me on a piece of paper? Is this “write up” going to be on my permanent record? Lol. I feel like I’m missing something.
Edit: I’ve never been written up at a job, and I normally don’t work corporate. I seriously just don’t understand.
