I’m still utterly flabbergasted. I was getting the “actually here’s why it’s right and good that you should tell them” from our FD and I joked “I assume everyone’s wages will be going up by the same amount?” He hummed and hawed a bit and said well maybe not that amount and the CEO cut in and said no, they’ve decided to go with it across all staff, and asked me not to tell anyone yet.
