No money. No regrest.

EDIT typo in the title. REGRETS. Wow. About 6 months ago, I quit my job that was making me miserable. I have gained about $2,000 in credit card debt and about $3,500 on my credit line and have no way to pay it off. I buy only the cheapest things to survive. And you know what? I have no regrets. About 6 months ago, I quit my job that was making me miserable. I have gained about $2,000 in credit card debt and about $3,500 on my credit line and have no way to pay it off. I buy only the cheapest things to survive. And you know what? I have no regrets. My mental health is at an all time high and I know I will pay it all back once I find a place that respects me.

My manager used to take a dollar out of our tip jar for every minute we were in the washroom beyond 2 minutes—making going number two virtually impossible, which was even more difficult with my many stomach problems. We used to have a system where if an order was sent back to the kitchen, the shift supervisor needed to go to the kitchen and watch them throw out the food to make sure no one “stole” the food that was not going to be eaten anyways. Working in a toxic environment like that made my anxiety worse than in all of my life.

Now I am free. Poor, but free. If you are like me, don’t be afraid. It’s not so bad being poor ️! It is better than being stressed 24/7!
