Why is it considered bad to ask about benefits in a job interview, namely WFH protocols?

It's like “bitch please, the primary reason I (and 90% of your other candidates) applied for the job is you advertising WFH options in the fucking description… You think it's bad form to ask for details on the #1 attraction?
