I was just told by my work today that they are reducing my pay by 4 dollars an hour and taking the gas card away. The gas card was given in place of the raise I wanted because they said it was cheaper than paying insurance and things that accompany payroll. I also drive an hour each way to work. Now I was the third person at this company and they seem to be floundering now. To the point where the owner and brother are doing some of our jobs to “justify paying themselves”. I took a paycut a couple years ago as a favor to the company, and now I make what I've earned, have just moved and now they spring this on me. The onlwners brother burst in on a meeting I had with the only supervisors I have, being the owner and his partner, and it started a fight, which the owners brother was written up for because he interfered. I've done a solid job at this place and earn what I make. But I can't go along with a paycut again. I'm in california, but would like some help moving forward. .
