Is It Reasonable for Me to Be Upset about Possibly Missing a Retention Bonus Because of a Mistake I Made?

So I work in banking and we've had a bad turnaround problem ever since I started about a year and a half ago. We seemed to be going in and out of crisis mode ever since I started (I wasn't really thrown into it until I had been there a few months and was able to take on more work). Basically, everyone has set daily work that we need to get through, but it's way too much to get through in eight hours. I don't remember the last time I didn't work over 40 hours a week. All of my coworkers are behind or struggling to keep up. New people would be hired but then leave after a few months,,but the real issues started when the more experienced team members started leaving. Then our boss was suddenly let go back in November. When we were informed about our boss leaving, the company promised a retention bonus of $1200 for those of us who are still here after 90 days and in good standing.
I've considered quitting many times, but staying in hopes that it would get better, and that it's very likely I would run into the same problem with being short staffed no matter where I was working. But this was making me consider it again. But they also caught my attention with the bonus. Obviously the company is aware that we've been screwed over so they're bribing us to stay lol. But money is money. So I would stay for now. Which leads to the current issue.
Earlier this week, my manager called me in for a significant mistake. It was an honest mistake, really, just happened to be a bad one. My manager informed me that I was being placed on probation for 90 days. I had had a couple previous mistakes that I was previously given a warning for, but that was back in July.
I was upset, but understood and know that I messed up. Then I started worrying that this mistake would disqualify me from getting the bonus. I asked my manager about it and said she doesn't know.
I'm going to be pissed if I don't get the bonus. Yes, I messed up. But I've done so much for this company the last year and a half. I gave so much extra time to help keep things in order. Not getting this bonus feels like bullshit and would probably be my last straw. But am I unreasonable for getting angry and wanting to quit if I don't get the money? I did make an error, after all.
