Hello first off I apologize for my lack of grammar and whatever I’m brain dead when it comes to that stuff. I work at a small family owned restaurant I work 5 days a week usually getting Sunday and Monday off aka the two worst days for a highschooler. I’ve been working here for about 1 year and 3 months and I’d like to ask for atleast an extra day off or to alternate Saturdays with someone but don’t know how to go about it. I’ve seen my manager get pretty upset with people who try and change the days they work and I’m to nervous to start a new job with new people. So if anyone has some sort of advice for this kinda situation please tell me I know it’s very unlikely and I’ll probably just get told to to quit. I’m also thinking of asking for a small raise beacuse I’ve been here for a while but doubt he’ll say yes. I’ve come in on days I wasn’t scheduled and have covered for people twice my age and I think they just see me as a machine I’ve also never gotten my sick pay that I used for the only time I’ve ever called out and that was 8 months ago
