The company where I spent a year decided to fire some employees because they don't have enough finance to pay all the salaries. And I was on the chopping block! I only learned it when I gave my resignation!!! I started to look for another job because I do the job of 4 people and that of a manager but with $450/per month. When I asked for a raise, my boss told me that I have to earn my salary and that only when I prove I merit that salary that she will consider a raise.
