I e been with my company since 2016 and I absolutely love who I work for. The work life balance is extraordinary and my supervisor has turned into my friend, but… the pay. Since 2016 I have gotten a total of 3 dollars in raises. I literally cannot afford to work there anymore. I told HR I’ve had to call in poor because I couldn’t afford gas. My supervisor really does not want to loose me, I’m senior in my team by several years but when I talked to hr, they said they had ideas and came back with literally nothing. I was heartbroken but not surprised. My new job is with the state, and has amazing health care, I couldn’t turn it down. I still feel bad leaving.
