Okay… if I have an hour unpaid lunch… and I decide to take a nap at my desk… why is someone able to come up to me and tell me that I can’t sleep? If I’m not being paid, what does the company care?
I have never understood these kinds of policies… if I am NOT being paid, shouldn’t I be able to do whatever? Why do company rules apply to me while they aren’t paying me?
Then it comes down to being in THEIR building. Because I’m in THEIR space, they don’t want to see me resting? It just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s not like anyone else around me cars at all!
