I'm terrified of my boss. He's too confrontational and in his head, and I cannot deal with him.
Recently, our only manager quit and my boss is suddenly taking me out of unemployment to work with him again. I'm a landscaper, and driving a plow super late at night while scared as hell isn't something I want to do. I want a clean break, but I messed up.
I put in a zero weeks notice via email, and they're understandably upset. I tried lying and saying it was pay, and conditions… they won't buy it. I'm an idiot, and just want this to be over with.
Am I gonna never get a good job again? Is there a nice way to say this, even though I kind of messed up the original notice? Thank you for your time.
