“Severance is like lost meets r/antiwork”

I saw a video where a YouTuber described the show Severance that way and I wanted to share that with you guys. When I watched the show, this sub absolutely crossed my mind. Severance absolutely encapsulates the spirit of this sub, and I encourage anyone who hasn’t seen it yet to go watch. If you don’t know what it’s about basically it’s a sci-fi mystery/drama with Adam Scott directed by Ben stiller. The premise is that there is a big, secretive company where, in order to work there you have to be “severed” which means when you are at work you no longer remember your personal life and when you leave you no longer remember your work life. Essentially you become two separate people, one of whom is trapped at work permanently. It’s the best show I have watched last year, definitely in my top 5 of all time list.…

So for those of you who have watched did you also notice the anti-work themes? Any thoughts?
