Like the title says, I have a friend, we will call them A, that lives in New York state and they just got fired shortly after handing in their two weeks even though their employer said they'd be able to work the two weeks with no issues. The company also has something that if A tried to get recourse for the issue then they will sue A. What can my friend do?
