I work in a healthcare as a clinician but an working the scheduling for a telemedicine center.
We had a month full of meetings regarding billing for PHONE visits and emails (tons). This gave me and my coworkers the impression we were offering phone visits.
Well, my boss was furious when finding out that we had phone visits scheduled…blew up on me saying I lacked common sense, asking if somethings wrong with me, and was disappointed.
She was thinking these 20 visits would have to get refunded. My other colleague found that phone visits were still covered by law (covid) for another 6 months and we confirmed with revenue cycle.
My boss was upset that i was also working remote on a day I was “in office” (but was told before it's flexible)
She basically left me she will think about things over the weekend and discuss with the team on Monday.
Am I getting fired?
