I've worked this job since mid December and now I'm sick for the third time. I now work in an office of only 6 people and 4 of us work in a very close proximity. My boss and 2 other coworkers were sick around the time I first started working here and I caught it immediately. I didn't think much of it besides something was going around. She came down with a sickness the second time around Christmas. I noticed the rest of us got sick from her directly. Come to find out, not only was the first time because of her also but she isn't vaccinated either. Now, I am once again I'm sick.
I like my boss but she's a micromanaging workaholic. Work is literally her entire life. It's so bad that her boss from corporate came a week ago and called her out for a control freak and needing to relax a little. She's been incredibly stressed with all the work things on her plate, and I get it. But from what I've noticed, she's never gotten over the initial sickness. What's happening is that when she's so stressed and hits a breaking point, she gets sick again. Let's say an email or customer stresses her out or she needs to go over a PowerPoint, she'll call us in one on one or all together and cough and sneeze her way through the explanations. After a couple weeks of this stuff compiling, she damn near loses it and winds up sick in the blink of an eye. Idk what to do at this point. I've told her about what I'm seeing from her after she got sick this time this week because it's not okay. She needs rest, she needs a doctor, and she needs to do whatever it takes to beat this. Now I'm sitting here coughing, sneezing, runny nose, headaches, you name it. Any advice?
