my friend made a post against her ex boss
the other day, my friend made a post about her ex boss and her questionable business practices and called the boss out basically. her post was true with some opinions but then the boss immediately threatened a lawsuit and made a defamatory post against my friend on Facebook with tons of support and all this gross shit. this place is a dog grooming salon and what's in question here is animal abuse. my friend has plenty of evidence backing up what she said in the post is true. she's considering posting all the evidence with just straight facts on the same subreddit but her mom, who is a paralegal, is suggesting that she drops it and apologizes to the ex boss. what could happen if she comes out with all the evidence? I don't want her to be screwed for standing up for herself and animal well being but I also don't want to see her life ruined over this. boss threatened lawsuit, and then made the awful Facebook post AFTER my friend had already complied and taken it down. MAYBE 50 people saw. right now, the Facebook post has 105 comments, 134 likes, and 4 shares. pretty safe to say that way more people have seen that post than her truthful Reddit post.
