Good things on the horizon in Michigan

Our new legislature has been busy lately. They introduced a bill to repeal to right to work, bring back the prevailing wage so those who work in government contract jobs get a living wage called the prevailing wage, introduced definitions to being a contractor in a business; something that temp agencies take advantage of all the time, putting limits on what is considered on call, and mandate pay for on call workers, and introduced a fair scheduling bill that requires a 14 day notice of when the schedule will start. While not perfect these are all steps in the right direction.
