I respect the fucking shit out of what you do. Nobody ever seems to mention that if one day there suddenly happened to be no fast food whatsoever, so many people would absolutely lose their shit.
Fast food is a luxury service to be able to access in a privileged economy. You guys are the ones running it, yet time and time again I see fast food workers being mistreated and dehumanized by upper management and customers. Fast food workers are literally on the front lines of a cultural asset. Y’all should be paid HIGH union wages, receive pensions, and be able to support a wonderful, worry-free life for yourselves and your families. I honestly can’t think of many who deserve it more.
Can you imagine how much public eye would be on labor rights if, say, there was all of the sudden no fast food one day?
