Coworkers who bond over complaining are the worst

I literally can’t relate and that’s why I hardly talk at work. Coworkers seriously love to pick apart any feedback from a supervisor even if it’s constructive or a benign interaction with a colleague and vent at length about it. I don’t have it in me to feign interest or share any commonality in this type of behavior and I think they can sense that and in turn resent me for it. Seriously, why can’t people just suck it up, do their job and go home to their real lives? I realize though in most areas of life people love to complain and it bonds them. Ironic though how the snakes and gossipers always get promoted and the hard workers such as myself are ostracized and taken for granted?!

Or worse yet in the event I do bring one thing up suddenly I’m overreacting?

I really can’t relate to most humans and honestly I find them weak, petty and and dramatic especially in the workplace.

Anyone else have this issue?
