Hi everyone,
I will be quitting my job at a tech/social-media company very soon. The company is very popular, but it treats its workers like shit and gaslights them all the time. The worst thing are the pagentry and the fake smiles.
We have to endure narcissistic managers with inferiority complexes (on top of the insane KPIs), who like and abuse workers. For this reason, I will be showering the manager with explitives before I live.
I honestly do not care about what happens to me, whether I end up in a coffee shop making coffee or as a park ranger. As long as I get to do the things I enjoy doing, I do not care anymore.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I believe any hope that things will improve or that the dream of a middle-class life is dead and pathetic to even entertain.
We cannot escape capitalism, and too many people are saturated into stupidity with cringe motivational buzzwords or superstitious nonsense. So, I have no hope in people either (only the French). However, France is not enough.
So, as I am just going to stick my middle finger. If I am going to fail, I'd rather fail on my own terms; for this job, like many, besides being a major failure, is just abuse and stress.
