Worked in a temp to hire position for 18/hr, no PTO, no holiday pay, no discounted parking, or transit vouchers. Right in the middle of downtown Seattle. I live in SeaTac, so I either get up at the crack of dawn and drive into Seattle early to get 17$/day parking (because if you come after a certain time, its 30$/day), or drive to a park n ride at the crack of dawn, hope for a free spot, then take the train and do -24$/week, then walk another 10 minutes into the building, which is being remodeled, the escalators always being down, and finally get into the floor.
I only lasted 5 months out of my 11 month contract, but I do not regret quitting. The job was easy, but the corporate, fake officey atmosphere, and the commute was just insanely mentally draining. I would kind of dread it.
