Basically the company said since they had no profits last year that we wouldn’t get a raise and they took away our Wednesday free lunch as well.
Even better – they launched a new website last may that caused hundreds of issues and plagued everyone’s systems for months and absolutely nobody asked for it so we are being punished for the head execs who are still giving themselves raises this year
The job itself already pays lower than other similar jobs but had some useful benefits that kept me around, but overall it’s turning into such a joke.
I am wondering though since I’m in California – does the state require companies to increase pay every year? It only pays a little over minimum wage and I think by next year it technically would be under at this point.
The best part: they said it’s our job to find ways to boost morale!
