I work remotely and I just noticed that most days, as I look down the staff list on Teams, all the higher ups are yellow while the little guys keep working. Right now, we are all supposed to working towards heavy deadlines, but the only people active are me, and an engineer who has COVID right now and is actually supposed to have the day off.
The higher ups will lie and tell us they were working too, they'll say they worked all day on this or that, but they didn't even bother to maintain a busy station because they're not tech savvy enough to think of it. Just pisses me off. We put so much into this company while they sit back and enjoy it.
I ask a question, I ask for support or clarification on a task, and I don't hear back for a day or more. But if I don't answer a call immediately because I had to go pee, I get asked why I wasn't at my desk. I worked for over 12 hours yesterday and forgot to eat, meanwhile my boss can interrupt a scheduled meeting with me to go to lunch. Yeah, I'm browsing Reddit right now, because you know what, so are they.
