My situation is that I have been working at an airport/ airline (Starts with a D) for about 6 months prior to my trip and when you work at an airport you get flight benefits so it is significantly cheaper to fly. Anyways, after two weeks when I got back from my trip, I decided to put my two weeks in as the job doesn’t pay well and I have another job and the two schedules have been colliding with each other recently so it makes sense to quit the job that treats you like crap and pays terribly for the labor and you work in terrible weather. The airport isn’t too happy about this and is even threatening me to pay full price for the plane tickets on said trip for quitting which is a lot of money considering the trip I went on, especially with plane tickets being insanely expensive altogether nowadays. I’d understand if I had just joined the job and quit right after my trip but this seems super unethical and maybe even illegal. Maybe I shouldn’t of even put my two weeks in and just quit on the spot.
