Manager insults us for being upset about not being paid

We are supposed to be paid today but so far we have not been and obviously many people are upset and frustrated. Many people voiced their concerns as this is not the first time and the company itself has lots of problems. So our managers solution is to insult us for speaking out or “not bringing our best selves” Thoughts? As of this posting we have still not been paid
