I work in Latin America. It's funny because I'm a good employee. I like to work and I have adapted well. Everyone is friendly and I'm good at what I do. I have the initiative and commitment.
They offered me to work on Saturdays until 12 (I start at 2) The supervisor was very impressed by my commitment, but he stopped being so nice when I asked him how much they were going to pay me to do it. He told me that he didn't know (?) I could ask the human capital, but he couldn't tell me either, passing the ball to one of his colleagues.
They asked me again if I could take another colleague's shift and work from opening time until 10 normal time and I simply said that I would not.
It's uncomfortable to think that my work has very little value to them, and for that reason, it makes me have mixed thoughts about being a dedicated employee who doesn't love being scolded.
It's just something I wanted to share. I can't lose this job
