I had to have surgery to be able to do my job, but it was a problem that was prior to starting the job. So I had it in December, and have been out of work since. Last week I went in and said that I can’t do stuff that physical anymore to I need to quit. Supervisor was chill and agreed, left on good terms.
Que guy who might be HR, but nobody really knows. He said because I didn’t work and quit on 2/2, I have to pay for the insurance, even though he refused to let me come in a couple days out of the week for this reason. I now have a $2400 insurance bill because US insurance is a fucking scam.
