Left out at work (still)

I posted here long ago on my spare account u/PrincessYamie about toxic coworkers. 230+ days later, I’m still here. The only difference is that I earn more money now and I’m burnt out. I’ve learned overtime to not care as much when it comes to my coworkers talking about me. I also stopped masking at work (I have autism) because it’s been really draining for me and being myself feels more free. I still try to be nice and talk here and there. My favorite coworker and only friend at work recently left due to military deployment and it’s been making me a bit sad. Is it weird to be maybe a bit sad about your coworkers leaving you out? I’ve learned overtime to not care as much when it comes to my coworkers talking about me. I also stopped masking at work (I have autism) because it’s been really draining for me and being myself feels more free. I still try to be nice and talk here and there.

My favorite coworker and only friend at work recently left due to military deployment and it’s been making me a bit sad.

Is it weird to be maybe a bit sad about your coworkers leaving you out? I overhear my coworkers planning events all the time with each other. Partying, renting out hotels, eating out, etc. All together at the same time. But I’m never invited or included into these things.

Recently they planned on going bowling, of course everyone was invited except for me. I usually don’t really get sad because when they plan things out, it wouldn’t work out with me anyways because I don’t drink or go to parties or smoke etc. But recently they’re starting to do like movie nights and bowling and sleeping over and it just kinda makes me a bit sad I don’t get invited to these things. Keep in mind everyone is 22-34 and I’m the youngest here so maybe that’s why?

Is it ok to be a bit sad about these things? How do I manage working while being aware that I’m being ostracized at work?

Just for a background, I do try to talk to people more and of course stay kind but it just doesn’t seem to work. I know it’s the real world and not everyone is going to like you or be your friend. I just hate being the odd one out, being the only person people don’t talk to, don’t invite, and avoid.

I don’t want to leave my job yet cause I get paid $20/hr with just my HS diploma and they pay for my college tuition. I like my job I like the benefits I just dislike my environment.
