I gave birth 12/10/22. Std was 6 weeks lasting until 01/20 after which maternity leave kicks in. Originally my company only paid 2 weeks maternity. Received an email from the company managing my leave stating that my company updated their maternity leave to 6 weeks paid at 100%. That meant my maternity leave would start 01/21 and last until 03/02. Received a phone call today stating the benefit only applies to births this year and that i can continue my leave until 03/02 but under fmla guidelines and unpaid. Wtgdf??
