I was put on a PIP hours after I reported my manager for inappropriate behavior. I’ve only been at the comment for 2 months.

Has anyone ever been on a PIP and offered to quit in return for a severance/settlement. I was thinking I would try and sue for retaliation since my PIP was given to me hours after I reported my manager. Has anyone ever done a negotiation of severance in exchange for quitting and not sueing?
