I'm working a shitty casual job at the moment, because there are no decent jobs.
Modern jobs:
-menial
– no benefits
-shit management
– roles 3 job roles into 1!
– productivity isnt rewarded
-casual roles ( no unions)
-SHIT Pay!
Job red flags –
- “we are a family”
- “has to be a fast learner”
-” commison only so your result reflect your work” - competitive rate ( no rate shown)
- “has to have a flexible schedule”
- “needs x amount of experience and bachelors degree”
- “ReAl Team PlAyEr”
Anymore you can think of?
It's a means to an end for me, but sometimes it just feels so pointless.
It angers me that boomers could live and have a house on 1 job and then I see retires and boomers walking around doing fuck all, while gen x, melenials and Gen Z Pickup the slack!
What will happen to our generation will we become modern serfs in neo fuwdalistic society? Or will people rise up and destroy this system?
What do you see in the future for workers and how will our generations survive?
I'm just so sick of haves and have nots, it's a failed form of society if someone is left behind.
I have investments, I have gold, crypto and I'm planning to start another business, these give me hope, but fucking hell does it get you down sometimes.
