Random mandatory shift change…for one day.

I've been working a mandatory six days a week since the start of the new year, as well as mandatory overtime (ten hours a day) each day, with the exception of Saturday which is an eight hour shift. Normally I work second shift, which is 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM due to the mandatory overtime. Last night before I left to go home my production manager told me that I needed to come in Saturday and come in on first shift. First shift is 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM without overtime since it would be on a Saturday. That would mean Friday I have to work to 12:30 AM, get home at around 1:00 AM and be up by 5:00 AM to get ready for work again…I'm debating not going in at all. We have had these mandatory overtime shifts and weekend shifts due to the company being behind in orders after the pandemic. The best part of it all, is the two people that require us to come in on the weekend never show up themselves.

I would've quit already had I not needed this job so badly since I just moved out into my own place at 21. The extra money is nice, don't get me wrong, but I'd like to spend some time outside of work (with a woman I have just recently been talking with about going out on a date with, to be more specific) but I am chained here every weekend and unavailable to spend time with her.
