My work announced last fall that they would start having an employee referral program, with a $1000 bonus after 90s days of your referral starting.
I referred my friend for a position she would be great in, and I just got the news that she has been hired! When I go to my employee portal though, the referral doesn't appear. Theres a section of the portal to check on the “status” of your referrals, and instead of saying something like “hired”, or “completed”, it's just missing.
I have a strong feeling they will now say that my referral wasn't filled out correctly/never went through/got lost and so /thats why/ they will end up not giving me my bonus.
I needed that 1k a lot to put down a deposit for my gf's engagement ring, man. just feeling totally beat down by all these games companies play with us.
